Despite a slight delay for upcoming Amazon MMO New World, an open beta is planned to give the developers one more round of feedback before full release on September 28.
Here are the dates for the Open Beta, as well as how you can get involved.
When does the New World Open Beta take place?
Here's when the beta takes place:
- Servers open at 4pm PT on September 9
- The server closes at 00:00 PT on September 12
How to play New World
To take advantage of the New World Open Beta, simply go to the game's Steam store page and click on the "Play Test" tab.
With this being an open beta you don't need to preorder the game, unlike the previous beta test in July. You won't be able to pre-load the game in advance of the beta opening.
What content will be available during the New World Open Beta?
All content will be available, which means that you won't have any level restrictions or areas of the map being off-limits.
You'll be able to face off against all bosses, explore all dungeons, and even raise your character to max level. Of course, this all requires one almighty grind, but we're sure some players will attempt the challenge of it!
While quite a short testing period, we're excited to see just how much of Aeternum is revealed across its duration.
