The Final Fantasy XIV Media Tour started yesterday and participants were able to share videos and articles about Endwalker's new features and zones.
Among the news revealed during this Media Tour, creators were able to visit a much awaited area which had already been seen during the various trailers and the benchmark.
It is on the Fanbyte youtube channel that the visit of the area was shared.
FFXIV Endwalker New City Tour: Sharlayan
Fanbyte takes us on a 9-minute visit (very long for the Media Tour format) in one of the biggest cities of Final Fantasy XIV. In fact, if we compare Sharlayan with the rest of the cities in the game... Sharlayan is really big.
This city has a very large number of buildings that can be visited and it can take a long time to walk from point A to B. The new teleportation system in the cities will be very welcome.
Sharlayan buildings include:
- Leveilleurs manor
- The Noumenon (The library shown during the trail runner of the extension.)
- The Aetheryte plaza
- The market
Although the market board was not available during the Media Tour, it is easy to guess where players will gather once Endwalker is released.

What to expect from Endwalker in FFXIV?
Many changes are to be expected with Endwalker, both with the classes and the already existing features. The new eight-player raid tier "Pandemonium" will also be introduced with the expansion.
