Paimon is the typical example of the dividing character in Genshin Impact. For some players, she is a very superfluous, annoying character while another large part of the community believes that she's cute and necessary. Some downright regret not seeing Paimon supporting us 24 hours of the day. The redditor garnered more than 6,000 upvotes in less than a day with this silly idea: why shouldn't Paimon become a gadget-companion that can be summoned at all times?
Part time companion
In Genshin Impact, the place occupied by Paimon is prominent at the beginning of the adventure, but it fades a little as it goes on. As we can see in the clip above, Paimon fully accompanies us during the tutorial; she walks with us on Teyvat. But after the first moments of the game, she only appears occasionally, in most of the dialogues shared with the other NPCs in the game.
What the Redditor wants is precisely to give Paimon the place she occupies during the tutorial. And this for the entire adventure. Technically, the publisher should be able to incorporate a Paimon into the game in the form of a familiar gadget, summonable when desired. MiHoyo even provided the character with animations of yawning, stretching or air rolling, as seen through the tutorial.
