Since October 19, 2022, a content update has been deployed on Disney Dreamlight Valley: the opportunity to meet Scar as a new character, to tame the Ravens, to explore the new area of the Mines of Vitalys and more Again ! But who says October also says Halloween ! For the occasion, Gameloft has some surprises in store for you.
The Halloween event starts this October 24
If you haven't seen yet, some hidden quests have been added to your Dreamlight Missions in the "Village" tab. There are 5 in total including 1 that was blocked until now. The truth is that Gameloft was waiting for this Monday, October 24 and therefore the start of the Halloween party in the game so that players could carry out these missions.
Regarding the last mission, here is what you must do:
- Candy buckets will be placed on the Esplanade and you will have to eat three candies of different colors.
- Reward : Green Candy Seal (an item that will be visible directly in your item inventory in edit mode)
Note : the candy buckets may not appear right away, play around a bit and come back to the Esplanade. Click on it to open it as if it were a chest and collect the candies inside to eat them. There are 3 of different colors that you must pick from to complete the mission.
If you haven't done the other Halloween missions yet, know that candy buckets allow you to finish them easily: you can collect a large amount of candy to eat or offer to the inhabitants.
What else to do?
Just in case, remember to collect as many candies as possible: you never know if a special event is looming for October 31st.
If you have already completed all of Scar's (and other characters') quests, you can always take the opportunity to farm as much money as possible with pumpkins (it's in season!) in order to buy all the furniture in the store. Scrooge. Also, don't forget to complete your special Villain Star Path to get Halloween-exclusive rewards.
You can spend the end of the month decorating your village with fall and Day of the Dead colors with:
- Items as rewards for Halloween quests,
- The exclusive objects of The Way of the Stars,
- New items to craft via your Workbench,
Be careful though, it seems that only the 5 quests, including the one with the candies on the Esplanade, are available for this Halloween "event". Especially since the rewards you get then cannot be ordered from Scrooge for the moment: you will only have one copy of each.
We would have liked it to finally be the opportunity to find out who is hiding in the Pumpkin House, but we will probably have to wait for a future update!
