Disney Dreamlight Valley has finally released its big content update on October 19, 2022. The opportunity to meet Scar and unlock the rivers and bones of the Sunny Plateau as they should be. Many other surprises are on the way, such as the Halloween festivities!
Halloween is coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley!
If the story continues with Scar at the Sunny Plateau and you can now unlock a new "biome" called the Mines of Vitalys , it has little to do with Halloween. Fortunately, Gameloft has prepared other festivities for you that you may have missed! Here's how to take advantage of pumpkins and other spooky decorations for your Valley:
- Complete Pass Missions - The Way of the Star Villains,
- Craft the special furniture available at your Workbench now,
- Tame some Ravens in the Forgotten Lands,
- Complete the 5 secret missions rewarding you with Halloween items,
- Wait for Halloween day , October 31, a special event should definitely take place!
How do I get the new mechanical raccoon?
A brand new critter has been added thanks to the Scar update: it's the mechanical raccoon, a kind of hand-cranked plush that follows you everywhere. Be careful though, this Companion can only be obtained for a very limited period, until November 11, 2022 , the end date of the new season of La Voie des Étoiles special Disney/Pixar Villains.
To obtain it, you must therefore unlock the Premium version of the Battle Pass (it costs 2500 Moonstones) and complete the missions of the Pass to earn Points. Once you have 50 points, you will be able to unlock the Mechanical Raccoon reward on the first page.
Then open your wardrobe to go to the "Companion" section and set the raccoon to follow you. Since the update, you can even pet the Critter. And if you don't want to pay for the Premium version of the Pass, know that this Critter is exclusive and therefore doesn't count in your Collection: it doesn't matter if you don't get it.
