The Dragon Mage deck allows you to get a strong presence on the board and almost no AoE. You will, however, get some AoE using Kalecgos, Firetree Witchdoctor or by sweeping the board with your minions' Battlecry. Once the board is under control, you won't let go of it that easily. If it happens, however, Khadgar + Power of Creation will be a good way to get back in the game.
