The Descent of Dragon expansion has been released in Hearthstone, and we now have a good idea about the useful cards to craft. Here is our selection of Hunter cards that may be useful to you.

This is just the result of various collections of information, you don't have to do it to get a competitive deck. Read the descriptions of the cards before creating them, to see if they can match the decks you want to have.

Legendary Cards

  • Kronx Dragonhoof is the mandatory card in all Galakrond decks. With the appearance of the keyword Invoke and Galakrond from the E.V.I.L classes, Kronx has become a must-play card that is played in more than 42% of the decks.
  • Dragonqueen Alexstrasza is one of the most powerful cards in the current Highlander games. A dragon that adds 2 random dragons costing 0 crystal is extremely strong, especially with the addition of many cards playing on the fact that you have dragons in your hand. Not to mention that the cards generated by this Battlecry are, in general, very powerful.
  • Frizz Kindleroost is very suitable for a few fairly heavy decks, using many dragons. Much less present than its two partners above, it remains totally playable if you want to create a Dragon deck, especially in Highlander.

Rare cards

  • Despite being a rare card, the Faceless Corrupter is one of the big stars of this extension. Its power was such that a nerf was needed to make it more balanced and less present. Initially, it was played in almost 60% of the decks.
The Dragonbreeder is present in some Highlander decks and in the Galakrond Warrior, due to his War Cry, allowing to recover in hand an additional threat.
  • The Bad Luck Albatross is played in many Highlander decks since it pollutes the opponent's decks with two 1/1s.
  • Like the Albatross, the Cobalt Spellskin is mainly played in Highlander decks, to which it adds two important elements. First, it's a Dragon, second, it's a class spell generator.

Common Cards

Who says Galakrond says Invoke. Thus, the Shield of Galakrond and the Devoted Maniac rise to the top of the rankings, both being present in more than 35% of the decks. Shield of Galakrond is even THE most played card in the expansion with a presence in 42% of the decks.
