A particular build has stood out since the release of Wolcen: one based on the technique Bleeding Edge. Its absurd power and critical blows deal several hundreds of thousand damage. It requires a high level to be played as it is, but you can get closer to it little by little.

Note: There are several builds based on Bleeding Edge, this is only a variant. Some people might prefer a pure warrior, with a shield, but this is not the only way to play. We were inspired by this build.

Skills

You can only choose five skills to start with. You'll have to expand Stormfall for a sixth. Here are the improvements to be selected in the reading direction.

  • Bleeding Edge - Runes 4, 10, 12, 14, 15 - Your main devastating attack.
  • Anomaly - Runes 1, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 - Will gather monsters, control them and inflict Stasis on them.
  • Plagueburst - Runes 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 15 - Monsters will explode, poison their friends and you will receive bonuses.
  • Bulwark of Dawn - Runes 2, 7, 9, 13, 14, 16 - Healing and robustness bonuses to stay alive.
  • Aether Jump - Runes 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 - Mobility, both for attacking and fleeing.

You can take a second Plagueburst in the 6th ability, or Sovereign Shout.

Attributes

Here is the distribution of the attributes to be respected for this precise build: At each level, place six points in Ferocity, two points in Toughness and two points in Wisdom.

That should give you approximately 500 to 600 Ferocity, 100 to 200 Toughness and 200 to 300 Wisdom with the passives and the equipment level 90.

Equipment

  • For this build, it is necessary to play with a melee weapon and a catalyst in order to use the techniques of warrior and mage.
  • Prefer the pieces of armor with life and resistance.

Statistics to look for

  • Raw attack damage bonus, Material and Fire type.
  • Critical attack damage.
  • Overall Critical Score.
  • Attack Critical Score.
  • Ferocity.
  • Transfer time bonus between Willpower to Rage. An Amethyst on a Support 3 sockets helps a lot in this area.
  • Cooldown reductions.
  • Chances of ailment applicable to Stasis (Occult) and Burn (Elemental).
  • Life Bonus
  • Resistance Bonus
  • Toughness

Passives

You can see the precise point allocation on this page. Be careful, Wheels 2 and 3 have rotated to the left, be sure to align yours if you want to avoid mistakes.

  • Wheel 2 has pivoted to the left twice.
  • Wheel 3 has pivoted three times to the left.
