Based off various features of Modern Warfare, Warzone is a free-to-play, standalone title from the game.

With plenty of familiar territory for those that have played Modern Warfare since its release, there is still a lot of new features that players need to get to grips with if they are to score that elusive victory.

We give you some handy tips and tricks to help you understand Warzone.

Weapon Rarities

Like most BR games, weapons have different rarities, representing how they hard to find they are. They often feature some form of damage boost, full attachments and generally look awesome. Here are the rarities of each weapon in Warzone:

  • White - Common
  • Green - Uncommon
  • Blue - Rare
  • Purple - Epic
  • Orange - Legendary
  • Red - Customised by a player

Stay As A Team

It is important to work together in Warzone so don't wonder off on your own!

Communication is also key so remember to utilise the ping system to communicate with your teammates.

If you do run into an enemy team, the likelihood of winning a fight when you stay as a team is much higher than on your own so communicate, work together and make sure to have each others backs!

Best Landing Places

There are so many places to land on the map, with each place offering a variety of engagement opportunities for you and your teammates.

The busy places are the ones that often contain a lot of buildings as they may have loot crates within them. Find one of these, and you are well on your way to having a fully equipped loadout.

Here are four places that we recommend landing:

  • Hospital
  • Stadium
  • Airport
  • Park

Plunder: What Is The Mode?

Plunder is the other mode to Warzone. The objective is simple, find and make as much money as possible in 30 minutes. The team that has made the most money at the end of the game is the winner!

Here are a few different ways to make that cash:

  • Killing opponents
  • Completing contracts
  • Search buildings and loot crates

Listen for Loot Crates

When you are near a loot crate, you will be able to hear a distinct sound that is emitted from it. Follow the noise and it could lead you to a lot of cash and some of the best weapons in the game.

Armour Plates

You can carry a maximum of five armour plates in Warzone and you can equip three to you at any one time.

Armour absorbs damage until it breaks. Once it breaks, you can re-apply the armour plates to you for additional protection.

These plates can be found all over the map and can be bought at Buy Stations for $1500.
