In Chapter 8 of Final Fantasy VII Remake, you'll get a little tour like every time you land in one of the game's villages. We recommend that you buy the weapons available in the shop as soon as possible, as they will be very useful for completing the battle reports.
Side quests and Moogle Medals
The vast majority of Moogle Medals can be found in boxes. You'll get them pretty quickly if you explore each chapter properly.
A small side quest called "The Mysterious Moogle Merchant" will unlock the Emporium.
To complete it and unlock the shop, all you have to do is pay for your Membership Card for 2 Moogle Medals.
The Emporium stock grows as you progress through the scenario, so go back to Moggie when you get to chapter 14, he'll be adding new treasures, some of them very precious.
