After your battle with Reno, a long detour to the junkyard and a meeting with your potential mother-in-law, you're off to a new batch of quests in Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Start the quest by talking to Ms. Folia, the Leaf House teacher, who will ask you to find five kids on patrol in the city. Cloud and Aerith will have to search the place in this side quest.
Kids on patrol
There are several clues to find the kids. For starters, they all have a wooden sword on their backs, reminiscent of Cloud's starting weapon. In addition, a green icon appears above their heads when you approach their position. Finally, by talking to Ms. Folia, she will give you clues about their position.
- The first is near the retirement home, not far from the Leaf House.
- The second is in the same direction, near large concrete pipes.
- The third is in the streets southwest of the slum.
- The fourth is not far from what acts as a central place for the area.
- The fifth and last is near the north exit of the city, where you arrived.
Once the children are found, return to the Leafy House, they will entrust you with the second part of the quest: kill the king of toads in the area to the north which can only be accessed via their secret hiding place. It is not a very difficult fight, especially with ice Materia.
Return to the Leaf House to receive a new weapon for Cloud. It will also unlock new quests.
