Once you've escorted Aerith home from the Church in Chapter 7 of Final Fantasy VII Remake, our two heroes decide to help the local population of the Sector 5 Slums.
While these sidequests are not required to complete the game's main story, they help add to the atmosphere of Midgar. If you want to make the most of what Square Enix has planned for the game, it's impossible to ignore these sidequests!
Tips
- As with the side quests in Chapter 3, you will also need to complete them in Hard Mode if you are looking to acquire Manuscripts and maximise your weapons' stats and abilities.
- The inventory of the Moogle Emporium will expand over the course of the game. Return to see him in Chapter 14 and purchase all the new items he has in stock, including new weapons for Aerith and Barret.
- Completing all the sidequests in this Slum will also give access to a short side-story with Aerith. Take the time to complete it, as this will allow you to witness a new cutscene. As mentioned above, all sidquests are mandatory for the Best in the Business trophy.
