There are a total of 31 Music Discs to find in Final Fantasy VII Remake. Some can be purchased from vending machines and vendors, and some are just given away by audiophile NPCs when you talk to them. An icon in the form of a disc or musical note appears on the screen when there's one nearby, and the background music will change to reflect this.
Once collected, they can be listened to at any time on one of the Jukeboxes found at certain points in the game. There are also two trophies you can unlock — the first for collecting three discs, the second when you have found them all.
Chapter 7
Buy it from the vending machine near the end of Chapter 7, at the entrance to Mako Reactor 5 (Gate Office). This is directly after the scene where Cloud, Barret and Tifa have to activate levers at the same time.
Chapter 3 / Chapter 4
Purchase from the store near the Sector 7 Undercity Station. You can also buy it at the start of Chapter 4 on your way to taking the train.
Chapter 15
Can be purchased at the vending machine encountered when climbing the Collapsed Sector 7 Plate.
Chapter 11
Can be purchased from the vending machine located in the Train Graveyard (Maintenance Facility 2F), just before the control room and the Ghoul boss encounter.
Chapter 14
Find the small lake along the road between Sector 5 and Sector 6. There is an old woman there who will give you the disc.
Chapter 9
In Wall Market, interact with the Jukebox on the street south of the Inn.
Chapter 10
Buy the disc from the vending machine in the Sewers (Aqueduct 1).
This is found in the room after draining the first aqueduct.

Purchase from the vending machine in the basement of Don Corneo's mansion, during the disguise section of Wall Market.
Chapter 14
In Wall Market, buy this disc at the Souvenir Shop at the entrance to the Colosseum.

Purchased from a vending machine in the Sewers (Aqueduct 4), a little before the second confrontation with Abzu.

Purchased from the vending machine found in the Shinra Underground Test Site.

Can be purchased from the Item Shop near the Evergreen Park area in Sector 6.

Go to Wall Market and enter the inn, then talk to the old man near the counter.
Chapter 9
In the northern part of Wall Market, go up the stairs near Chadley to find a group of cowgirls in front of a themed bar. Talk to the one in the Stetson hat.
Chapter 6
This one is found during the main story when you are tasked with switching off the Sun Lamps in Sector 4's Plate Upper Level.
Before taking the last elevator to reach the Reactor, take the smaller elevator to your right. Climb the ladder (on the wall with the giant fans), where you'll come to a room with a vending machine.
Chapter 8
You can buy it for Moogle Medals from the Moogle Emporium (Children's Secret Hideout) in the Sector 5 Slums.

Available at the vending machine near the Sector 5 Undercity Station.
Chapter 9
After finishing the second mechanical arm puzzle in the Collapsed Expressway (Large Cave-In), take the pathway going up instead of the ladder going down. You will come across a vending machine selling this disc.
Chapter 14
At the Sector 5 Undercity Station, talk to the Item Shop vendor next to Johnny to purchase this disc.

At Wall Market in Sector 6, talk to the NPC in the Urban Advancement District section to the west. You'll find the alley to the left of the Colosseum.
Chapter 8
Interact with the Jukebox in the Community Center just west of Leaf House.
Chapter 9
This is given as a reward for getting 'Good' or better in the warm-up dance at the Honeybee Inn in Wall Market.
Chapter 3
To the right of the Seventh Heaven in the Sector 7 Slums there's an alleyway. Head down it, and you'll see an NPC outside a building. You shouldn't miss it, as the music will change as you approach.
Chapter 5
Found in one of the auxiliary rooms found in corridors leading away Corkscrew Tunnel Track E. You'll find a vending machine where you can buy the disc.
