Patch 1.22 for Modern Warfare and Warzone has gone live across all platforms to signify the beginning of Season 4. Full of brand-new additions to both games, there is no better time to get your hands on Modern Warfare or drop into Verdansk on Warzone.

The Contraband Contract is the latest contract to be introduced into Warzone and rewards players and teams that complete the contract with a brand new Blueprint weapon to add to their arsenal.

Here's how the new Contract works.

How Does It Work?

The Contraband Contract is a rare contract that has the chance to spawn once a previous contract has been completed. If you've just completed a contract and see a briefcase, grab it and begin transporting it to a designated Helicopter Extraction location that will appear on the minimap.

Remember this - The player carrying the briefcase MUST be the one to deposit it into the Helicopter drop-bag so get your teammates to cover you for anybody attempting to poach the contract at the very last minute.

If you don't see a Contraband contract after a contract has finished, you can still get your hands on the briefcase by taking down a carrier, stealing the briefcase and reaping the rewards for you and your team!
