Since Update 1.4.0, the dream world is back in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! This means that you can now visit other players' island in your dreams, or share your own dream code for other players to visit yours.
How to share your dream code
- After updating, you will receive Luna's Bed as a gift by mail.
- Place the bed in your house and sit on it to sleep
- A message will ask you if you want to sleep. Answer Yes.
Be careful, this only works if you are in normal outfit: if you wear an outfit linked to your magic wand, then you must take it off.
Luna will welcome you then. She is the guardian of the Dream Suite. Its role is simple: it will allow you to visit the island of other players in dreams. This therefore means that whatever you do there will not influence the player's real island, and that you will not need to wait for the latter to open its doors.
- To share the dream code of your island, you must select the option "I want to share a dream" with Luna
- The dream then transcribes the version of your island when you request it. This means that you must regularly update the dream code if you change your island,
- The operation requires an internet connection
- Luna then gives you a dream code which you can share in the comments below.
How to visit another player's island in a dream?
It's almost the same procedure but you have to select "I want to dream". You must have a dream code in order to access someone's dream.
