To solve the puzzles in Dunyu Ruins, you will need to light torches. For this you will need a fire character (you normally have Amber at the start of the game).
Light the fire
Head to the upper part of the Ruins which overlooks the water crater, here you should notice a first torch to be lit. There is also another at the top of the stairs, just behind the first one. Then go upstairs, a third torch should be near a geo mechanism. The last torch is located nearby, on one of the columns just above. After turning it on, all you have to do is go back down near the geo mechanism and then activate it with a geo character or with the traveler statue if you are wearing it.
The first part of the riddle is completed. If you have performed each of the steps correctly, the water level in the crater should drop and a protective shield should appear around the water point, preventing you from accessing the chest and a geoculus.
Guide the fairies
As you approach the water point, you will notice that statues are present around the protective shield. You will have to lead a Fairy to each of the statues. They are present not far from there.
- One of the Fairy can be found, below the Ruin, after some stairs, in a small room on the side, near the boss.
- The second Fairy is just above the first, at the level of the second torch.
- The last one is completely opposite, in the outer room framed by two gigantic statues. The doors of the room are closed, you will have to complete a challenge and face some mobs to open them. When you enter the room, the Fairy flees through the ceiling. Climb the wall and enter the room above. After having fought the few mobs present inside, remember to recover the small chest as a bonus. The Fairy then flees to join the last statue.
Once this step is finalized, the shield disappears, the chest is then accessible. An updraft is triggered on the stone stele and allows you to recover the geoculus which is located just above.
