Patch 1.28 for Modern Warfare and Warzone is now available, and that means that we can eliminate as much space as we want from our PC's hard drive so the machine can breathe easier. We explain how to do it.

The function that allows us to delete files that we do not use from Modern Warfare in is live!. This feature was only available on consoles, but Infinity Ward has finally implemented it on PC with the launch of patch 1.28.

Steps to follow

Open the Battle.net launcher.
Select Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the left panel.
Select the Options menu at the top left of Battle.net.
Select Modify Installation to open the installation pop-up window.
Under Game content, select Modify installation.
Uncheck the content you want to uninstall. (Warzone cannot be uninstalled). You can disable multiplayer, campaign or special operations.
Select Confirm
Start installation
