Fortnite Season 4 Week 10 Challenges: Search Chests at Upstate New York

Search Chests at Upstate New York is one of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Week 9 Challenges.

This challenge is part of Fortnite Season 4 Week 10 Challenges and you'll have to search a total of seven chests at upstate New York. The gigantic platform was integrated into the game via patch 14.10, and houses the Stark Industries location.

Upstate New York doesn't appear by name on the map, but you can easily spot the promontory on your mini map or from the battle bus.

Map

Note that all the chests on the promontory count towards the completion of the challenge. You can land at Stark Industries, but also at the cottages on the shores of Heart Lake — where you can find a few chests. You'll also find a few chests hidden by large bushes all over this ledge.

Remember that for this type of challenge, the chests must be opened cleanly. If you smash its support to release the objects contained in it, it won't be counted in the challenge.

In the week following the release of this challenge, it's very likely that a large number of players will land in the area. In the standard battle royale mode, the least risky part of the challenge is likely to be avoiding Stark Industries. No need to wait until the early game frenzy has passed before venturing into upstate New York either: all the chests will already have been searched.

If you're really too scared of landing on belligerent opponents, there's nothing to stop you from playing in Team Rumble, where this challenge will still be active.
