The month of November has just started in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and there are plenty of things to do. Mushrooms, Pine cones, Acorns and Maple Leaves will allow you to craft pretty furniture for your fall decor. But it's also very likely that Franklin will join the game at the end of the month and allow us to grow vegetables other than pumpkins in order to cook good meals!

1. Pine cones and Acorns

This is nothing new, but it's important to know that during the whole month of November you will be able to continue shaking the trees to get these two resources.

  • Pine cones: shake the cedars,
  • Acorns: shake non-fruit oaks.

2. Mushrooms

There are 5 types of Mushrooms in Animal Crossing: New Horizons:

  • Flat mushrooms,
  • Skinny Mushrooms,
  • Round Mushrooms,
  • Elegant Mushrooms,
  • Rare Mushrooms (truffles).

3. Maple Leaves

Please note, Maple Leaves are only available from November 16 to 26 in the Northern Hemisphere (and from May 16 to 26 in the Southern Hemisphere). It will therefore be necessary to collect enough to make all the furniture in the collection.

To get a Maple Leaf, all you need to do is take a good look around you as you roam your island. At any time, you can stumble upon a flying red leaf. Take out your net and catch her like a bug! Be careful, if you touch it with the net but miss it, the leaf will disappear.

4. Cooking with Franklin?

Teased during the trailer for the last update, Franklin the Turkey should reappear at the end of November. Already known from previous games, he's notably the special character linked to the Harvest festival (or Thanksgiving).

In old games, we therefore met Franklin on the fourth Thursday of November in the village square (the Town Hall in our case). In New Leaf in particular, he had to prepare a meal to celebrate the harvest festival. But he is missing some ingredients and as players then we have to look for fruits and other ingredients from the villagers in order to help him.

As a reward, it was possible to obtain special furniture from the Franklin Series.

So it could be that on New Horizons, this event is back but that we ourselves have to cultivate the products to give them to Franklin. The Harvest Festival could also allow us to unlock the kitchen in the game!

Bonus: don't forget

  • Scorpion Fragment: until November 22
  • Sagittarius Fragment: November 23 to December 21
  • Bug-Off: November 21
