The integration of multiple NPCs directly in Fortnite is undeniably the biggest change of Chapter 2 Season 5. Each of them is a unique protagonist created by Epic Games, and will offer you a whole new system of interaction and bounty hunting.
Barely 48 hours after the launch of the season, content creator Meetlootllama shared a map listing all the NPC spawns on Apollo Island. This will allow you to grow your gold bars more efficiently, and complete your character collection in no!
It's important to know that the 40 characters in the list appear at each game. On the other hand, they can sometimes change their place of appearance, among a selection of two or even three places.
What do NPCs offer?
Each separate character will offer you interactions, which don't vary from one game to another. This means that knowing each NPC's services by heart will be useful in the future — so that you can adapt your inventory as you rotate around the island.
Here are the different interactions you can do with NPCs:
- Get a bounty during which you'll have to eliminate a player in the time allowed to win gold bars.
- Get a quest which will grant you some gold bars. Note that you can keep the quest even after the game, for a duration of 1 hour.
- Buy weapons, utility items or ammunition with gold bars.
- Reveal one or more close players.
- Recruit the NPC as an ally for the rest of the game.
