Hunter - Genius

Ahri is a mage that behaves more like an AP assassin. Her main asset is her ability to burst down other players from early on in the match. Electrocute is an absolute must on this champion. Brutal will give you an offensive bonus in the early game, while Regeneration in green will help you manage your mana if you've been spamming your spells.

Finally, Hunter - Genius is very effective on Ahri, as the rune gives her a way to build up cooldown reduction (CDR). The Nine-Tailed Fox is very strong in earlygame teamfights, with this rune giving you a great way to quickly stack up some CDR.

Abilties

Here is the order in which Ahri should max out her skills, though keep in mind you should always rank up your ultimate whenever it's available to you.

Main Items

The items you buy on Ahri will vary heavily from game to game, especially when factoring in the enemy team comp. We've compiled a list of the best items for this champion, ranked by importance. The items in bold are essential to your build and you'll pick them up in the vast majority of your games.

1. Luden's Echo

2. Awakened Soulstealer

3. Morellonomicon

4. Rabadon's Deathcap

5. Void Staff

Tips and Tricks

  • To avoid your burst, enemy players will always try to dodge your charm (also known as her "kiss" by some players). Wait for a surefire opportunity to get a hit with this spell is a bad idea; don't be afraid to just throw it out. Waiting for your opponents to shuffle around in the fog of war or gather in a chokepoint before firing it off.
