Runes
Aftershock lets you reliably prey on anyone who is unfortunate enough to to get hit by your crowd control. Your grab should directly lead to a kill as much as possible.
Weakness, in red, operates similarly. By optimising your single-target burst, you drastically reduce an opponent's' chance to survive your grabs.
Blitzcrank makes a good roamer (a champion that goes from lane to lane to gank enemy champions). Hunter - Titan lets you get the most out of this ability. Finally, in a similar vein, Pathfinder improves your mobility in the jungle or the river, giving the ability to speed across the map and help out other lanes.

Tips & Tricks
- Blitzcrank is incredibly mana-hungry. Because of this, you'll have to pick and choose your moments in the laning phase, not unless you enjoy watching watching your mana bar slowly climb up from zero while your AD Carry gets bullied by the enemy team.
- You can always head to other lanes to catch out enemy solo-laners. Landing a grab often leads to a kill for your team, provided you hold the numerical advantage. If the enemy team is unable to spot you on the map then they'll be forced to play extremely cautiously, so don't be afraid to hang out in the fog of war for a while!
