Just picked up Tristana in Wild Rift and need a few pointers? Don't worry, just read our guide on the Yordle Gunner and you'll be a master of the botlane in no time!
Runes
Tristana has the potential to be an immense threat in the late game thanks to her passive, Draw a Bead. This AD Carry can put out a slew of persistent damage thanks to her powerful auto-attacks, making Conqueror a no-brainer, as it lets you power up during lengthy fights.
In red, Gathering Storm lets you snowball into the late game to an even greater degree. Tristana players will want to be as powerful as possible towards the end of the match and this rune will help them do so.
In green, Loyalty is almost essential for the duo lane, since it improves both you and your supports defensive stats.
Since Tristana is an ADC that can easily pressure the opposing botlane thanks to her ranged poke, we've opted for Sweet Tooth in blue as it offers you a bit more survivability during the laning phase.
Skills
Here is the optimal skill order for Tristana. Max out her abilities as outlined in the graphic below, but don't forget to rank up your ultimate whenever you can.
Note: at Level 2, it's often a better idea to put a point into Rocket Jump as it lets you follow your support if you both decide to play aggressively during the early laning phase.

Main Items
The items you buy vary heavily from game to game depending on the composition of the enemy team. We've put together a list of the best items for Tristana, ranked by their effectiveness. Items in bold are essentials that you'll buy in the vast majority of your matches.
Tips & Tricks
- During the laning phase, Tristana excells at all-ins, where you rush an enemy to eliminate them. Don't be afraid of jumping right onto an enemy champion to get into range to light them up with Explosive Charge and auto-attacks.
- Your ultimate, Buster Shot, is very versatile and is especially handy whenever you get jumped by an enemy assassin. Use it to get them off you and pepper them with autos, or flee with Rocket Jump.
