After defeating Bonemass in the Swamp, you’ll get the Wishbone – this will help you find silver as well as other secrets in Valheim. The Wishbone needs to be equipped in order to be active, but it uses the same slot as Meningjord, so you’ll not be able to carry as much when you’re using it. However, once found you can swap out the Wishbone for Meningjord so that you can carry more.
Using the Wishbone
Once the Wishbone is equipped, you’ll be able to find secrets – these will be indicated by a dinging sound, sometimes accompanied by a burst of green particles. The dinging will increase in both pitch and speed as you get closer to buried treasures.
Once you've found it, the Wishbone will stop detecting the treasure.
The Wishbone will detect the following secrets:
