To craft Linen in Valheim you’ll need to find Flax plants – these are mainly found in the Fuling villages on the Plains. Get rid of the Fulings, and then look for small patches of cultivated land – you’ll find around 15-20 flax plants, which will yield 2 Flax each. You may find more Barley than Flax, so make sure you search multiple patches.
You can also cultivate Flax, but it will only grow on the Plains – so we recommend building a small farm somewhere.
How to Craft Linen
Once you’ve collected enough Flax, you’ll need a Spinning Wheel to turn it into Linen. You’ll be able to build the wheel after building the Artisan Table.
Crafting Materials for the Spinning Wheel:
- 5 x Leather Scraps
- 10 x Iron Nails
- 20 x Fine Wood
The Spinning Wheel has a capacity of 40 Flax, and will drop Linen as it is made.
