This guide tells you all you need to know about the Pyromancer class in Outriders, including optimal build, which weapons and armor to use, and which skills to pick up.

With plentiful AoE damage, the Pyromancer in Outriders is the essence of DPS.Reliable in both solo and co-op modes, you'll probably find favour in playing in the latter.

This guide helps you set up your Pyromancer to be the best it can be, with devastating effect.

Pyromancer — Skill Trees

For the Pyromancer, you're going to want to take the Ash Breaker class. With skills such as Ash Blast and Feed the Flames, it'll be far more interesting to play.

The final node in this tree isn't strictly mandatory for this build, because by focusing on the early nodes, we'll optimise AoE damage.

Pyromancer — Skill Choices

Between the Ash Breaker skill tree and the Torturer armor set, the skills kind of pick themselves.

The choices — Volcanic Rounds, Ash Blast and Feed the Flames — aim to inflict AoE damage and mark as many opponents as possible, so that you can maximise the health recovery on offer.

Voclanic Rounds

IGNITE

Fill your current weapon's magazine with Anomaly-infused bullets that will inflict Burn within a small radius and pierce targets, damaging enemies behind them. The skill lasts until you reload or switch weapons.

Armor Set Bonus: :Triples the size of Volcanic Rounds’ damaging aura that surrounds each bullet.

Ash Blast

IMMOBILIZE

Create an Anomaly blast to inflict Ash on all enemies in a large radius around you.

Feed the Flames

IMMOBILIZE

Pull an enemy toward you, dealing damage, draining Health, and inflicting Ash.

Pyromancer — Legendary Armor

The Torturer set is the most suitable choice for this build, granting upgrades to the skills we've chosen and ramping up that AoE damage. Ultimately, you'll become a DPS machine! .

When you equip three or more pieces of the set you'll also triple the size of the damaging aura surrounding each Volcanic Round.

Pyromancer — Weapons

The Pyromancer regenerates health thanks to marking opponents, so it goes without saying that you'll want weapons that deal explosive damage.

Enoch's Blessing — Legendary Pump-Action Shotgun

Life and Death – Killing shots create a blast that restores a percentage of Health to players
Gravedigger’s Frenzy – Critical shots increase your Critical Damage by a percentage for a duration

The Wicker — Legendary Submachine Gun

Ultimate Ashen Bullets: Shots inflict Ash on enemies.
Ricochet: Shots ricochet to another enemy within a 5 meter radius of the initial target.

The Juggler — Legendary Assault Rifle

Scrap Grenade: First shot after reload becomes an Anomaly projectile, dealing 226 157 damage in a 5 meter radius.
Minefield (Mod): Killing shots spawn explosives around your target, each deals 58 155 damage in a 5 meter radius.
