This giant lava spider is one of the first bosses you’ll encounter in Outriders – it has three health bars, which can be a little tricky but don’t worry! We’ve outlined the best strategy for you to beat the Molten Acari.
Strategy
Weak point: Aim for the bag behind the Acari to cause maximum damage throughout the fight. Over time, it will disintegrate, leaving its raw yellow skin, for maximum damage.
- Phase 1: On the first segment of his life bar, the Molten Acari will throw a few AOEs at you at your head, jumping on you or swinging fireballs and a straight attack.
- Phase 2: The boss will switch to melee tactics – a well-timed dodge can save you a here, however the objective remains the same, blasting the boss's backpack.
- Phase 3: After having plunged into the lava one last time, the spider will transform. Watch out for its continuous lava projections, which will flood the arena and reduce its surface area. Be careful to avoid the lava on the ground!
