There are four classes in Outriders: Pyromancer, Technomancer, Trickster and Devastator – but which class is best for co-op and which one is best for solo play? We’ve put together this guide to help you choose wisely!
The best classes for soloing on Outriders
If you prefer playing solo, then your best bet is the Trickster or the Devastator class.
Trickster
The Trickster class has more assassin-like skills – with the ability to control time and space, and teleport, this class is the perfect choice for close combat.
Devastator
The Devastator is a tank class, able to take a fair amount of damage thanks to their skills. With self-healing skills, and an affinity for firearms this class is another perfect choice for one-on-one combat.
With either the Trickster or the Devastator you’ll be a menace on the battlefield and won’t need to worry about having an ally by your side!
The best classes for co-op on Outriders
For co-op players the Technomancer and Pyromancer classes are ideal.
Technomancer
The Technomancer is a support class, but not a true healer. This class is able to freeze a portion of the battlefield, or even summon turrets of frost and poison. In addition, Technomancers are able to summon weapons while inflicting poison damage to opponents. Technomancers are a valuable addition to any team.
Pyromancer
The Pyromancer is an excellent DPS – capable of dealing huge burn damage with their skillset. Though this class is considered a damage machine, they lack defensive skills – needing a party to have full effect.
Both classes deal a huge amount of damage, but don’t have any means to control their surroundings – which is why they are ideal for co-op play.
