Light machine guns (LMG) in Warzone have almost always flown under the radar despite possessing incredibly strong damage outputs. The lack of mobility often causes players to deviate from this particular weapon category in favor of a fully-equipped assault rifle.

In recent weeks, players have slowly turned their focus to LMGs, particularly the RPD which comes with a huge magazine, minimal recoil levels, and almost no damage drop-off in mid-range engagements.

For those looking for an alternative to an assault rifle, here are the best attachments to equip to the RPD.

Warzone RPD Best Attachments

  • GRU Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • 20.3" Task Force (Barrel)
  • Spetsnaz Grip (Underbarrel)
  • Axial Arms 3x (Optic)
  • Fast Mag (Ammunition)

Rather than focusing on improving the mobility of the RPD, this particular build puts an emphasis on excelling in those mid-range gunfights against assault rifles.

The choice of suppressor and barrel will seem familiar to those that use Black Ops Cold War weaponry on a regular basis as this combination bolsters damage range, improving the time to kill in mid and long-distance duels.

The Spetsnaz grip drastically reduces recoil to much more manageable levels while the fast mag greatly improves reloading speed, enabling players to get straight back into the action as fast as possible.

As for optic, it's personal preference as to which one you want to use. In this case, we went for the Axial Arms 3x for a slight increase in zoom, making it much easier to deal with targets from a distance.
