Whether you are looking to achieve 100% by completing all Biomutant Achievements or not, the 16 supporting characters in the game are, in fact, quite important. They are notably among the NPCs that you can choose to take to the Ark with you or not, and some of them have very rare quests and resources to give you. This is why we should not miss it and why we are going to explain to you where to find each of them.
The five main characters of Biomutant
While these are not useful for Social success, they are still important to your adventure. You will logically have no trouble finding these characters since you will meet them during the various quests of the main scenario.
Whiz Tinkertonker

Where to find him: Whiz is located in sector 12F, at the Surgesurf Factory
Whiz will give you the tool to kill the Murk Puff
Noko

Where to find her: Noko is located in sector 6J, at the Gnoat Pen
Noko is part of your past and she remembers you
Gizmo

Where to find him: Gizmo is located in sector 5C
Gizmo is a DIY enthusiast who loves to craft and create useful tools. He'll ask you to help him find junk and teach you how to recycle. In the main quest, it is he who gives you the Mekton useful to face the Jumbo Puff
Out-Of-Date

Where to find him: Out-Of-Date is located in sector 8G, at the Sprill Slope not far from Porky Puff
You meet him at the very beginning of your adventure, in Bunker 101, and it he who will teach you more about your childhood. For the record, he is in a wheelchair because of the Porky Puff who tore his leg.
Goop

Where to find him: Goop is located in sector 4D not far from Bricktown
Glop is important because he works on the Googlide, a vehicle that allows you to cross many liquid areas, especially to face the Porky Puff
Where to Find the Side Characters for the Social Achievement
In addition to the main characters that you will not be able to miss during your adventure, there are a multitude of secondary characters in Biomutant. When you first meet them, you will understand whether they are on the Dark side or the Light side. If they are on your side, then you can offer them a special place in the Ark at the end of the adventure!
Of these, 16 are a must-find if you want to complete one of the game's achievements called Social. Here is the list of 16 NPCs and their location:
Boom
- Aura: Darkness
- Special feature: Gives an ultimate item
- Where to find him: Boom can be found at Puffduff Bluff in Sector 7C, not far from the Skypook outpost
Chubsa the Tortler
- Aura: Light
- Special feature: It gives you a side quest where you will have to stay on a giant turtle to obtain the Infected Turtle Carrot
- Where to find him: Chubsa is located in Sector 8E, next to the Glurp Paddock
Jumble
- Aura: Light
- Special feature: It gives useful nectars and potions
- Where to find it? Jumble is located near the Urfidurf Outpost
Gulp
- Aura: Darkness
- Special feature: it gives a few items but above all allows you to participate in the drink mini-game. Winning a drinking contest against him will unlock the "Under the Table" trophy.
- Where to find him: Gulp can be found in Sinkdink, in Sector 4E. Please note that you will need the Googlide to access his location.
Lump
- Aura: Light
- Special feature: Grants an ultimate cookie that increases stats, and a rolling pin ultimate weapon.
- Where to find him: Lump is located in Flotaboat in sector 3F.
Klick
- Aura: Darkness
- Special feature: by completing his quest, you will be able to improve the Kloonkfist and therefore unlock new doors
- Where to find him: You will find Klick in Anywhere in sector 5D
Mito
- Aura: Light
- Special feature: gives small quests and an ultimate weapon reward
- Where to find him: Impossible to miss, Mito is part of the Main Quest and you will meet him automatically via Noko. More precisely, Mito is in Brightlight
Gill
- Aura: Light
- Special feature: he will give you the Pee-Wee Gargantua vehicle
- Where to find him: Gill is located in Burblebottom in sector 11G
Maya Doom
- Aura: Darkness
- Special feature: she rewards you with an Oogi Poppet, used to craft or modify Melee Weapons
- Where to find her: Maya Doom is in the Hex Hut in sector 7K
Juju
- Aura: Darkness
- Special feature: this seller allows you to buy clothes and will give you One-Piece Hood, One-Piece Teddy Botton and One-Piece Teddy Top.
- Where to find him: Juju is located in Faraway in sector 6H
Moog
- Aura: Darkness
- Special feature: Moog will give you Prosthetic Legs and Prosthetic Arms, and an important side quest to hunt monsters (this is how you will unlock the quests to obtain vault keys)
- Where to find him: Moog is an essential step in your main quest and you will therefore be taken to meet him. He is located in the Steepdeepo in sector 6C (beware of the lack of oxygen, you will need the Mekton to move more serenely)
Nova
- Aura: Light
- Special feature: Nova rewards you with the Ark Backpack, Ark Helmet, Ark Pants and Ark Jacket
- Where to find her: Nova is located in Watchout in sector 10E, next to the observatory.
Pebble
- Aura: Light
- Special feature: it is thanks to Pebble that you will be able to improve your Crowbar and therefore open new blocked doors. She will also give you a side quest to find the Batnam-Nam
- Where to find her: Pebble is located at Knack Hill in sector 7D, not far from the Sknapptrutt Outpost
Sol
- Aura: Light
- Special Feature: Sol will give you Sol's Chest, which is back armor
- Where to find him: Sol is rather difficult to find. You will first need to have completed a side quest called Sol Slenderstiff. You'll find this side quest in Sector 9J
Chu Chu
- Aura: Light
- Particularity: Gives an ultimate modifier
- Where to find them: Chu Chu is at End-of-the-Line in sector 9I.
Trim Furfur
- Aura: Darkness
- Special feature: he is a hairdresser that allows you to change the color of your coat
- Where to find it? Trim Furfur is located in sector 6F in Spurftop
And there you have it for the 16 secondary characters required for success. In fact, there are two other secondary characters (if you don't count the main NPCs in the storyline):

Honki
From Dark Aura, it grants the "Bagman" achievement as soon as you buy an item from him

From Bright Aura, Lobo will give you Lobo's Gullblimp and will allow you to unlock the sequel for the NPC Sol
