The close-range metagame in Warzone is arguably the most competitive it has been in the history of the battle royale.
Thanks to Raven Software and its regular waves of weapon balancing, there are several weapons that are ideal choices when getting up close and personal with an opponent on the streets of Verdansk or Rebirth Island.
Although this particular SMG is often overlooked, the Uzi from Modern Warfare is capable of dominating close-range combat thanks to its high damage output and consistent rate of fire.

This set of attachments is perfect for close-range action. The combination of suppressor and barrel improves damage and range which can be ideal if the intended target manages to attempt an escape.
At extremely close ranges, the addition of the Merc Foregrip and the laser come into their own, providing improvements in hip-fire accuracy which is perfect for those hectic gunfights where it's tricky to tell what's happening.
For those that prefer a mid-range build, we recommend removing the laser in favor of a G.I Mini Reflex for a crystal-clear view of any opponents in the surrounding area.
