In World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic, access to many instances are locked if you don't complete certain quests or increase your reputation with certain factions. Worse yet, these locked dungeons also lock out access to subsequent raids in the expansion.
In this guide, we take you through how to get to the Arcatraz, one of the instances in Netherstorm's Tempest Keep.
Access to the Arcatraz
Prerequisites:
- Level 65
A barrage of lasers is blocking the entrance to the Arcatraz and to deactivate them players must obtain the Key to the Arcatraz. Two possibilities are then available to them:
- Obtain the Key to the Arcatraz (logical)
- Call in a Rogue with a Lockpicking skill of at least 350
The Key can be obtained by completing a fairly grueling ques tline, one that leads players through the other two instances of Tempest Keep -- the Botanica and the Mechanar.
Important:
Only one key is required for the whole group to access this instance. Better yet, if a nearby player opens the door leading to The Arcatraz, then anyone can go there.
The key is only used to open the door leading there, and the entrance portal to the instance is accessible to all players of Level 70 -- with or without the key.
Here is the complete quest line and the objectives you must complete until you get the Key to the Arcatraz :
Important: This line involves venturing into the Botanica and the Mechanar, two 5-player dungeons. Bring allies with you!
When this quest line is complete, you will get the Key to the Arcatraz. Congratulations!
