In Burning Crusade Classic, access to many instances is locked if you don't complete certain quests or increase your reputation with certain factions. Worse yet, these locked dungeons also lock out access to subsequent raids in the expansion.
In this guide, we explain how to access the Black Morass, one of the instances in the Caverns of Time in Tanaris.
Access to the Black Morass
Players only need to be level 66 to enter The Black Morass on Normal difficulty. However, entering this dungeon's portal requires completing a questline in Old Hillsbrad Foothills (GT1).
This starts with the quest To the Master's Lair from the Steward of Time at the entrance to the Caverns of Time, in Tanaris.
Important: All players who wish to access The Black Morass must have completed the questline detailed below. If one of the group members has not, then they will remain stuck at the portal.
Important: This chain of quests involves venturing into Old Hillsbrad Foothills, a 5-player dungeon. Bring allies with you!
When this questline is complete, access to the Black Morass is opened for the character who completed it. Congratulations!
