In Burning Crusade Classic, many instances are locked if you don't complete certain quests or increase your reputation with certain factions. Furthermore, these locked instances also prevent access to later raids in the expansion.

In this guide, we explain how to access the Shadow Labyrinth, one of the instances of Auchindoun in the Terokkar Forest.

How to access the Shadow Labyrinth

Prerequisites

- Level 66

The Shadow Labyrinth only requires players to be at least level 65 to enter the Normal Mode. However, a door blocks the entrance, and to open it, players must obtain the Shadow Labyrinth Key. There are two options:

Get the Shadow Labyrinth Key, or use a Rogue with a Lockpicking skill of at least 350 to unlock the door.

The Shadow Labyrinth Key can be obtained by defeating Talon King Ikiss, the final boss of the Sethekk Halls (another instance in the Terrokar Forest). Each party simply needs to make a short trip to the Sethekk Halls in Normal Mode before their trip to the Shadow Labyrinth to obtain the Shadow Labyrinth Key.

Only one key is needed for the whole party to access this instance. Better yet, if a nearby player opens the door to the Shadow Labyrinth, anyone can go in. The key is only needed to open the door to the Shadow Labyrinth — the entrance to the instance is accessible to all players of level 65 or higher with or without the key.
