Materials
You can break the head, each wing, the back and cut the tail. Cutting the tail is interesting since it can be cut separately. All that's left is to capture the Rathalos afterwards to have a chance to get rare rewards.

It offers excellent fire resistance, and useful offensive skills, making it a suitable choice for absolutely all types of players.
Rathalos Weapons
They have decent power and sharpness, and a bonus fire damage which will prove useful on some monsters.
