This challenge is the ninth quest in the Fortnite Winterfest 2021.
You're asked to open a treasure chest found under a holiday tree. Seems legit, given, it appears to be the quest unlocked on New Years Eve!
The trees can be found in various locations on the island. Use the map below to guide you.
Where to find holiday trees in Fortnite
Holiday trees are pretty easy to spot, as they are covered in decorations. You'll find loot chests under some of them.
Large fir trees stand in the centers of certain areas. You will also find them at the Nutcracker House, just south of the Logjam Lumberyard sawmill.
For this challenge, we recommend speed -- land as closely as possible to the trees and their bounties, open them, then get out before the mayhem starts. Trying to find a chest in the middle of the game will often result in failure.
