Runes
In the midlane, Lucian has the potential to be a real terror to opponents. Conqueror and Brutal give him exceptional trading power, especially in the early game.
In green, Adaptive Carapace is a good defensive rune for survivability, and can be the difference between getting locked down in a teamfight or escaping at the last minute.
In blue, the Manaflow Band will be easy to stack, especially with your Piercing Light. In the endgame, you should have a pretty decent mana pool to be able to give your all.
