This challenge is the twelfth quest in the Fortnite Winterfest 2021.
You're asked to light a campfire while having icy feet. While this seems simple on paper, it's actually a complex challenge to complete.
Your character will have to have feet entombed in blocks of ice, which makes your character difficult to control. Follow this guide to get it done quickly.
The best campfire to complete the challenge
There are several ways to freeze your feet in Fortnite, and we've opted for chiller grenades and snowmen, which can be found all over the map.
The Rocky Reels campfire has the benefit of having lots of snowmen around it. You'll be able to freeze your feet, while not being too far from the campfire.
Follow these steps:
- Collect wood (around 200), so that you can light the campfire later.
- Find a snowman in front of the giant screen, occupy it, and move towards the campfire.
- Vacate the snowman and build walls all around yourself and the campfire. This way, you'll stay close to the fire even when slipping.
- Pick up the snowman. As it explodes, it will freeze your feet.
- Proceed carefully to the campfire. You should be able to complete the chain of events without too much difficulty.
Of course, nothing prevents you from completing this challenge using chiller grenades, on any of the island's campfires.
