Shurelya's Battlesong is a great AP support item, offering mobility, cooldown, and plenty of mana regen.
Chemtech Putrifier is good for applying Grievous Wounds, and enhancing allies.
Other good items include Ardent Censer, Staff of Flowing Water, and Mikael's Blessing.
Starting Item & Boots
Skill Order
While your choices may differ according to how the game progresses, the typical Lulu skill priority is:
R > E > W > Q
Summoner Spells
These are the summoner spells most typically taken by Lulu in this role. Naturally, this may change depending on match-ups.
Gameplay
On Lulu, you'll want to harass your lane opponents as much as possible. She has surprisingly decent damage, while still providing a ton of utility to her ADC and other teammates.
- Level 1 - Take E - Help, Pix, for the poke and shielding.
- Level 2 - Take W - Whimsy, to help her ADC get ahead and providing zone potential.
- First Back - Work towards your Shurelya's Battlesong.
Tips & Tricks
- Be careful not to push your lane by wanting to auto-attack your enemies. Your passive does significant damage, but stops on the first unit encountered.
- Use Whimsy on your ally who initiates a teamfight, to help them reach their target. Alternatively, keep hold of it and use it to neutralise a dive.
- Help, Pix and Wild Growth make for a potent combo in keeping an ally alive.
- Pause after landing Help, Pix on an enemy - they'll often anticipate the next move and try to dodge it, so wait until that's happened before firing out your Glitterlance.
- Wild Growth can be used to counter dashes or jumps from champions like Vi and Rengar.
