Some mounts are more difficult to get than others in Final Fantasy XIV and the Lynx are the latest mounts introduced in Endwalker. These mounts are obtained by clearing the Extreme Trials of the extension. Well, obtained but not at a 100% rate. And while all the mounts are available for purchase for 99 tokens by the end of the expansion, it can take quite a lot to be available from an NPC.

Some of the Extremes will also drop tokens by two, these are usually the longer fights so farming the 99 tokens will be quicker if you don't get the mount. Farming more than the 99 tokens is mostly if you can wait for the NPC to sell it after all (like me).
