Supply Drops
If chasing chests is just not something for you, you can use a more extreme looting method: hunting for supply drops.
Announced at periodic intervals by a characteristic sound, the supply drops are large blue boxes hanging from yellow balloons, which are dropped above the map.
You will hear the sound of a supply drop when it appears in the air. Immediately after that, a blue smoke will rise from the ground showing you the exact location where the package will land. The louder the sound is, the closer you are.
A package always contains high quality loot. Epic and legendary weapons are the usual loot for those who are brave enough to hunt them down. Courageous because between the greed that will attract many players.
Note: if you are in a hurry, it is possible to shoot into the balloon until it explodes. You will then greatly accelerate the arrival of the package on the ground. However, the balloon has 1250 HP, so check in advance that you have enough ammunition.
