Fortnite: the loots

The basics

Looting is the art of quickly acquiring the most efficient equipment possible. You need to be able to launch yourself serenely into the match, being ready to fight with anyone.

First, the equipment always appears on a specific spot, meaning that the items locations always stay the same. If you enter a house and you see a weapon in the middle of the living room, it is a good idea to go back there to check that room every time you are in the area. The item that appears may be different, and there will not always be something, but the spawn location will not go anywhere. Following the same logic, if you've been somewhere 10 times and there's never been a loot, it's probably because there will never be anything there.

The spawn locations are mostly located inside the buildings, there are some exceptions on the map - such as swamps where the loot appears at the foot of trees - but overall you will have to go inside buildings to get equipped.
