Also known as "ReferAFriend", the referral program is back in Fortnite! This is very good news for collectors and, in general, for all those who wish to rediscover the Battle Royale. The event runs until January 11, 2023 , and offers cosmetic rewards (including an exclusive skin). To do this, you must play a certain number of games with a friend, each of you sharing one of two roles: godfather or godchild .
What is a referral?
The Referral (you or your friend), must have played less than two hours in an essential game mode of Fortnite Battle Royale or Zero construction (Solo, Duos, Trios or Sections) in the last 20 days .
What is a sponsor?
In order to be a sponsor, a player must have played at least 120 minutes in one of the main game modes of Fortnite Battle Royale or Zero construction (solo, duo, trio or section) during the last 30 days .
How to sponsor a friend ?
To participate in the event, godfather and godchild must register with their respective Epic Games accounts on this site .
Then you just have to play together and complete tasks to unlock outfits and cosmetic items.
You can access challenges and check your progress on the Refer a Friend site until certain milestones are reached. There, the godfather and the godson will receive the rewards associated with this stage. For example, by completing the last challenge, which requires godparents and godchildren to reach account level 60 (visible in the Career tab), participants can unlock the Xander outfit.
