Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to look at Clay and how to get it.
Clay: what main use?
Clay can be used to craft bricks, some furniture, and paths through the crafting station (your workbench). However, you will mostly need it to complete a multitude of friendship and story quests in the game, starting with the Mysterious Wreckage with Goofy which will ask you 25.
This quest is very important because once the raft is repaired, it will allow you to unlock the character Ariel . If you're having trouble finding the other resources, feel free to check out our ingredients guide as well.
Clay: Where to find it easily?
You will only find clay in three specific biomes in your village:
- The Bayou de la Confiance (the easiest biome to unlock after the Enchanted Beach),
- The Sunny Plateau,
-
The Forgotten Lands,
You won't find clay directly on the ground as can be the case with mushrooms for example. Grab your shovel and dig holes in the mud! Almost one out of three times clay will come out of it, like dirt when you dig in the grass or sand when you dig in the beach.
As usual, don't forget to have a character with the Excavation profession accompany you: this will give you a chance of getting twice as much clay.
