Patch 6.25 is coming soon to Final Fantasy XIV and the new relics will make their way to Eorzea at the same time. The patch will also introduce the Omicron beast tribe and Variants dungeons.
For this patch we'll probably only get the first step of the relic, with a non shiny version of the relic, but this time again, you'll have to complete a few quests before being able to get your relic.
How to unlock the Relic Weapon in FFXIV 6.25
To get your relic you will first need to complete the entire quest line from the Hildibrand series.
There are a few dozen quests to complete from the start, including the brand new story line from the Endwalker expansion.
If you haven't completed the new quest just yet, the starting quest is located in Radz-At-Han near the Aetheryte, and beware, it's a yellow quest.
The older quests can take quite a while and will even ask you to complete exclusive duty, locked behind Hildbrand quests where you'll fight very special oponents (no spoilers here).
