God of War Ragnarok includes a number of high-level challenges to complete, as well as hidden bosses. This brave woman was in charge of kidnapping children, before transforming them into crows on behalf of Odin. So the time has come to put an end to it. In this case, the difficulty lies more in its invocation than in the fight itself.
How to summon the Raven Keeper and where to find her?
This enigmatic character is mentioned several times by Mimir, when you go to open the legendary Chests of the Tree of Crows in Nilfheim. It's not a big surprise, but you need to have found and killed the 48 Ravens of Odin present in the game. You can therefore only face the Guardian Raven after you have completed the main story , since the last Raven is not previously available. Once done, open all the legendary chests in front of the tree . The guardian will then appear, in order to provoke you. It will then disappear.
You can then find the Crow Keeper in the Nilfheim Training Area, across from the Forge .
What equipment to use?
- The Chaos Blades are to be preferred in this fight, since all your enemies are frost type.
- We advise you to use amulet enchantments that protect against frost, such as Celestial Panacea (25% resistance), or the roll that shortens the effect of afflictions.
- Enchantments that restore life by killing enemies can be interesting.
- This fight is not particularly difficult if you have the appropriate equipment.
Fight against The Raven Guardian
The guardian herself is a normal frost witch. She has very little life, and all of her attacks are known.
- Be especially wary of her frost wave on the ground, she can just be shield blocked . His other attacks can be easily interrupted, or dodged laterally.
- The witch will dodge a lot of attacks, ask Freya to shoot 2 arrows in a row to stop her for a brief moment.
The first difficulty comes from the fact that the guardian disappears regularly, and that she is replaced by very aggressive frost creatures. Play defensively and knock them out. Using your Spartan Rage can be a good choice in order to clear enemies quickly. Three waves of enemies were summoned during our fight, with more formidable monsters during the last.
The pale
Towards the end of the third wave of monsters, the witch will simply summon a dragon to assist her, before disappearing again. It's quite easy to see when the transition takes place, since the boss' life bar changes, it becomes "Le bleme". He'll fire a few frost projectiles at you before dropping down from his perch, so don't make the same mistake we did, and look for his position.
If you have visited the crater north of Vanaheim, the dragons must be very familiar to you . The pale is almost identical, but with frost attacks. He also has a lot less life, which makes the fight quite fast.
We therefore find the classic attacks, such as the big dive (red attack) forward, the rant (yellow attack) to be parried ideally, and above all, his great breath of frost which will sweep the area. You can either roll enough to its sides to be out of reach, or roll under it as it passes.
Around halfway through its life, the dragon will fly away and prepare for aerial bombardment. But unlike his colleagues, he didn't go into a dive to breathe, he dropped frost bombs instead, which you have to dodge. We didn't manage to touch it during our first (and last) try. It is possible that better positioning will allow him to be brought down. It didn't turn out to be necessary though, as he landed with a claw shot (yellow attack) right after. It is therefore better to focus on survival, and dodge (or parry) everything.
Once on the ground, the dragon can quickly be killed with runic attacks. The guardian will then reappear, and all you have to do is finish her off. Even Freya's arrows hurt her badly.
