Do you dream of changing your outfit so that your character looks a little more like you on Pokémon Scarlet and Purple but you don't have enough Pokédollars? Here are the 3 ultimate techniques to double your winnings and pick up rare items to resell later.
Collect the Amulet Coin
Just like the Lucky Egg, which allows you to earn much more Experience if you hold the object to a Pokémon on your team, the Amulet Coin allows you to collect double the Pokédollars at the end of the fight against a trainer. If you know you're going to explore a new area and beat up all the NPCs in the area, then don't forget to equip the Rune Coin. Be careful, unlike the Lucky Egg, you must send the Pokémon holding the Rune Piece into battle to benefit from the effects.
- You get the amulet Coin through the Pokémon League NPC waiting at the Pokémon Center Mezclamora East in West Zone #3 . You must have defeated 4 trainers in the area to receive the reward.
The Asado Desert: infinite source of money
As in any other Pokémon game, there are items called "treasures" whose only use is to be sold. Nuggets and Maxi-Nuggets are among them, but they are quite rare. Stardust, on the other hand, is much less rare since it appears in abundance in the Asado Desert, to the west of the map. Especially pick up the sparkles on the ground to get Stardust and Star Pieces that sell for a small fortune. The same goes for the Rare Bones that you will find all over Paldea.
And if you really don't know what to sell and you're missing a few Pokédollars, don't hesitate to get rid of the samples that you have in large quantities, especially if you're not interested in abilities.
As explained in the video above, you can further optimize item gathering by using a Pokemon like Phanpy that has the Pickup Ability.
Use League Points
New in this installment, the League Point is another currency that you can use to buy items, clothes and other ingredients. 1 league point is equal to 1 Pokédollars. While it is easy to obtain them by selling its samples as explained above, you will also obtain them in large quantities simply by clicking on the Raid crystals that are in the Paldea region. Whether or not you participate in the Teracrystal Raid , you will earn LP. The same is true when battling Teracrystal Pokemon in the wild.
LP are also obtained each time you defeat a Team Star Boss . Speaking of combat, don't miss the NPCs with black speech bubbles: they are trainers to fight that are more powerful than the others and will give you a lot more Pokédollars as a reward.
