On July 19, 2019 a small Harry Potter Wizards Unite conference was held during the Comic Con. Several important information was provided:
- Adventure Sync is coming soon to the game. This feature tracks the distance you've walked even when the application is closed — just as in Pokémon GO
- The game's story focuses mainly on the relationships between each character
- The graphic design of the game is taken from 1920s and 1930s
- Tickets for the Indianapolis Fan Festival are now available ($30 general access / $40 early access)
- Dragons are coming to the game!
How do you get Dragons?
It has been confirmed that Dragons will be region-locked — each type of Dragon will only be found in a specific region.
The first Dragons will appear at the Fan Festival in Indianapolis, which takes place August 31–September 1. After that, they should be unlocked worldwide.
Dragons are part of the Oddities family. For the moment, we only have the visuals of two species of Dragons:
- Antipodean Opaleye
- Common Welsh Green
