During our first run of Borderlands 3, we found many Legendary Weapons, including the Stark Tsunami, a weapon of mass destruction that you can recover after a while in the game's history. We'll explain what's going on.

How to get it?

Nothing very complicated. When you get to the main quest 'Space Lasertag' on the Skywell-27 platform, you will meet a boss called 'Katagawa Ball'. You can't miss it, you have to kill it to continue the main story. Once dead, the boss has a chance to drop the legendary unique Stark Tsunami weapon. If you are unlucky, once your quest is over, nothing prevents you from coming back to the area to try again, the boss reappears every time you leave the area.

The fight against the boss

  • The boss is not very hard, he will be level 22 when you meet him.
  • Provide a corrosive weapon and an electric weapon. The boss has first an armor bar and then two shield bars, he has no health points strictly speaking. It's a flying robot and it's relatively tanky.
  • To beat him easily, take cover, then use the appropriate weapons by shooting into his eye (weak point) as soon as possible.

Stark Tsunami

This small SMG made in Maliwan will do you a great service, especially if you like elementary damage. For all the people playing Amara, go for it. It's simple, the effect of this jewel is as follows: charges and then shoots balls of all the elements without apparent logic. Each of the shots is either "normal" or a set of 5 projectiles of a random element among corrosion, incendiary and irradiation. Enough to put a lot of damage on your enemies but with a variable 'chance' that spices it all up!

We recovered the weapon at level 21 and it is useful. You can admire the catch statistics below:

  • Damage: 23
  • Accuracy: 86%
  • Handling: 58%
  • Reload Speed: 3.0s
  • Fire Rate: 9.59/s
  • Magazine size: 44
