Borderlands 3 — Flakker, a Legendary Weapon

Another legendary weapon guide completely cracked for Borderlands 3. We introduce you to the Flakker, a fireworks machine, literally.

This article should appeal to all explosion fans. We have here, with the Flakker, one of the best legendary weapons in Borderlands 3. Indeed, this pump gun, rather classic in appearance, can implode bosses or entire enemy rooms, as shown in our short video clip. We comment on its effect and come back to its achievement in the game.

How to get it?

We are beginning to understand that many objects, in Borderlands 3, can be obtained just about anywhere. Yes, this is another world drop we're talking about. This Flakker was obtained in a Circle of Massacre but you can get it by using any farming technique, a priori. Game bosses and other loot Tinks are more likely to drop this kind of object.

Flakker

This Torgue-made pump rifle is a small wonder. What other manufacturer could do something like that? No one. Despite the mediocre weapon score of this weapon, for level 50, we are close to perfection. How to describe the effect of the latter? Each shot is a mini fireworks display. In reality, the shotgun creates explosions and under-explosions that fart from everywhere. The only downside to that is that you always have to take a step back from your target. The Flakker doesn't touch what's right in front of him. On the other hand, on a boss with a big hitbox, it's a party!

The weapon exists in several versions (the affix before its name changes) and the one we present here is only one of the available variants. Each Flakker can be different. There are Elemental or not, jets that hurt less or more, etc....

We recovered the weapon at level 50, during a Circle of Slaughter, as we have already mentioned above. It is an integral part of our collection and it is probably a must have on Moze, if you play a zone/explosion build. You can admire the statistics below:

  • Damage: 1089x3
  • Accuracy: 52%
  • Handling: 58%
  • Reload Speed: 2.1s
  • Fire Rate: 0.58/s
  • Magazine size: 17
